Software Engineer, Education Analytics

About the role

Google is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Education Analytics team. You will help build data solutions that give educators secure, cost‑effective insights from diverse data sources, driving better learning outcomes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using back‑end languages such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ and front‑end technologies like JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Create and scale data processing pipelines to deliver high‑level analytics for education leaders and teachers.
• Collaborate with shared infrastructure teams and partner with customers to ensure reliable, secure delivery of analytics services.
• Contribute to product road‑maps, propose new ideas, and measure impact on adoption and engagement metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• Experience with full‑stack development and web‑based applications.
• Ability to work effectively across team boundaries and with external partners.
