Software Engineer – Enterprise Platform

About the role

Watershed is expanding its Enterprise Platform team and is opening an office in Mexico City. As a Software Engineer you will help build robust, production‑grade systems that power climate and ESG data management for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end‑to‑end capabilities, from code to production support.
• Develop reliable integrations with third‑party APIs (e.g., SCIM) and ensure zero data loss with comprehensive audit logs.
• Create synthetic demo data environments to support sales and customer‑success workflows.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, design, sales, and other engineering teams to align development with business needs.
• Deliver infrastructure that enables revenue growth and helps customers measure and reduce carbon footprints.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building products with JavaScript/TypeScript or a comparable object‑oriented language.
• Strong full‑stack development expertise and familiarity with modern SDLC practices, including continuous deployment.
• Experience delivering enterprise‑grade software and meeting high service‑level expectations.
• Background working in a multinational, distributed engineering organization.
• Willingness to work from the Mexico City office four days per week.
