Software Engineer I - C#

About the role

As a Software Development Engineer I, you will help build, maintain, and modernize enterprise applications that power McDonald’s Global Account Management platform. Working alongside senior engineers, you will gain hands‑on experience with both legacy and cutting‑edge .NET technologies while delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes under senior guidance.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Contribute to the modernization of applications built on .NET Framework 4.8, ASP.NET MVC, and modern .NET (8/10).
• Develop user interfaces with Razor Pages, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
• Write clean, well‑tested code following engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot application issues with support from senior engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders.
