Software Engineer II – C# .NET

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join McDonald’s Global Technology in Mexico City. In this role you will help build and evolve the digital ordering and delivery platforms that serve millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, high‑performing applications and APIs using .NET technologies.
• Build and enhance software solutions that support McDonald’s digital ordering, delivery, and customer‑experience platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Quality Engineers, and cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver business value.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production support.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event‑driven integrations for internal systems and external partners.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code following established engineering standards.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to improving code quality, system reliability, and development processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and building .NET applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product, architecture, and quality teams.
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle and agile delivery practices.
