Software Engineer II with Accounting Experience

About the role

Sezzle is looking for a mid‑level Software Engineer who brings both engineering expertise and accounting knowledge to help build fintech solutions. You will work in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused team, designing and delivering high‑quality software that powers interest‑free installment plans.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy backend and front‑end features using Golang, React and React Native.
• Write clean, maintainable code and document functionality according to coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance and maintain software solutions.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Grafana, Loki and Prometheus.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines on GitLab and manage deployments on Kubernetes and AWS.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Background in accounting or finance and a proven ability to translate domain knowledge into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset (high IQ) combined with good interpersonal skills (high EQ).
• Self‑motivated, able to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
