About the role

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a SQL Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure platforms. The role supports analytics, reporting, and machine‑learning initiatives for the company’s insurance business.

Key responsibilities

Develop, optimise, and automate ETL/ELT processes using Azure Databricks and related services.
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Synapse Analytics.
Write and maintain SQL objects such as tables and stored procedures.
Administer Azure resources and ensure reliable data platform operations.

Required profile

Advanced English proficiency.
Residency in CDMX, EDOMEX, or GDL (Mexico).

Required skills

Python programming.
SQL development (tables, stored procedures, etc.).
Azure Databricks.
Azure Data Factory.
Azure Data Lake Storage.
Azure Synapse Analytics.
Azure DevOps.
Azure administration.
