Staff Accountant – Crypto & Digital Asset Focus

About the role
CoinFlip is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its Accounting & Finance team. The role focuses on cryptocurrency‑related transactions, monthly close processes, and account reconciliations across its digital asset operations and ATM network.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain monthly roll‑forwards for BTC, ETH, LTC and other digital assets.
- Reconcile wallet balances to blockchain data and internal sub‑ledgers, and resolve exceptions.
- Perform wallet data cleanup, validation, and record crypto donations, rewards and incentives.
- Calculate fair market value (FMV) and remeasure digital asset holdings.
- Support position checks and proof‑of‑reserves style reconciliations, including hardware wallet activity.
- Prepare and post journal entries for month‑end close and maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with flux analysis, variance explanations, fixed‑asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Help prepare financial reporting schedules, audit support packages and monthly closing processes.
