Strategic Sourcing CAPEX – EPC

About the role

FedEx Express is seeking an experienced professional to lead strategic sourcing for capital‑expenditure (CAPEX) projects within the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) domain. The role focuses on material handling and sortation equipment, supporting global logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate complex EPC contracts and lead tender processes for capital projects.
• Perform total‑cost‑of‑ownership (TCO) analyses and develop clean‑sheet/should‑cost models.
• Manage global CAPEX and OPEX category portfolios for sortation equipment, conveyor belts, and weight‑and‑dimension systems.
• Integrate contracting and implementation of sortation systems across logistics facilities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of strategic sourcing experience, including 3 years in CAPEX category management.
• Proven track record negotiating EPC contracts and leading global tender events.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, or airport baggage‑handling environments.
• Fluent English (C1/C2 level) and ability to work with international teams.
