Structural Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our Mexico City office. The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to perform structural calculations, develop analysis models and support construction documentation for concrete, steel and other structures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural computations and design analysis for concrete, steel and miscellaneous structures.
• Create 2‑D and 3‑D analysis models, interpret results, and verify load paths for gravity and lateral loads according to applicable building codes.
• Assist with construction administration tasks, including site visits, shop‑drawing reviews and preparation of technical reports.
• Develop design drawings, quantity take‑offs, cost estimates, specifications and other project deliverables in collaboration with the structures team.
• Prepare technical studies and reports that support project decisions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.
• 6–10 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis.
• Valid professional license (Cedula) for Mexico.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational abilities and a client‑focused, team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Experience using Rhino or Grasshopper (preferred).
