Supervisor Maintenance

About the role

Donaldson is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities, ensure equipment reliability, and drive safety and efficiency improvements across its manufacturing operations. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting with team leadership and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
• Lead, coach, and support a team of maintenance technicians to meet performance and safety targets.
• Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues and implement timely solutions.
• Collaborate with production teams to align maintenance priorities with operational needs.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers.
• Track maintenance metrics and generate basic performance reports.
• Support installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial settings, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Advanced knowledge of control, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems and ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and industrial best practices.

Required skills

• Preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance expertise.
• Control systems (PLC, HMI, sensors).
• CMMS/ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle).
• Lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen, TPM).
• Root‑cause analysis methods (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).
• Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic system troubleshooting.
• Safety compliance knowledge.
