Supplier Development Engineer

About the role
Join Marelli’s Interior team as a Supplier Development Engineer. You will work within the Purchasing department to ensure that our suppliers meet the highest standards of quality, technical capability and delivery performance.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new and existing suppliers against Marelli’s quality and technical criteria.
- Conduct training sessions and audits on supplier sites to verify compliance.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and purchasing teams to resolve supplier issues.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the launch of new interior components by qualifying supplier capabilities.
Required profile
- Relevant engineering or technical background, preferably in automotive supply chain.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess supplier data.
- Effective communication skills for training and audit activities.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to work in a fast‑evolving global environment.
