Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

Timken is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to ensure 100 % on‑time delivery of finished goods by managing component availability, inventory levels and coordination with suppliers and internal teams. The role combines data analysis, inventory control and cross‑functional communication to support manufacturing schedules and meet customer promises.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor on‑hand inventory in SAP, conduct cycle counts and ensure target inventory levels are met.
• Coordinate daily with customer service and suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries and production schedules.
• Plan raw‑material requirements, track incoming material, and provide direction to other Timken facilities.
• Maintain traceability documentation, audit receiving activities and ensure proper entry in SAP.
• Manage plant returns, both from customers and to vendors, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
• Participate in weekly supply‑chain meetings and daily TMOS meetings, collaborating with shipping, quality and sales teams.
• Support PPAP processes, validate customer orders, and prioritize demand according to production needs.
