Supply Chain Analyst – Production Planning

About the role

3M is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst in Ciudad Juárez to manage production planning and ordering for assigned products and lines. The role focuses on balancing service levels, inventory, and cost while supporting global supply chain standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production orders, set parameters, and manage capacity and material planning.
• Place purchase orders, handle exceptions, and resolve constraints to maintain service, inventory, and cost balance.
• Optimize lot sizes, production cycles, and safety stocks; share trade‑off analyses with business partners.
• Collaborate with supply planners, lead Lean Six Sigma projects, and present improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) completed before start.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or logistics.
• Advanced English proficiency and ability to work onsite.
• Valid visa and passport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and OneNote.
• Experience with ERP, MPS, and MRP systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools (CPIM/APICS certification desired).
