Supply Chain Planner – Manufacturing

About the role

Ambu is expanding its manufacturing site in Mexico and is looking for a proactive Planner Supply Chain to support production scheduling, safety stock management, and order fulfillment. You will work closely with manufacturing and distribution teams to ensure smooth operations and meet service level targets.

Key responsibilities

• Enter distribution orders to and from Ambu locations.
• Determine safety stock levels for manufactured and distributed items.
• Use monthly forecasts to set production targets for each work centre.
• Publish weekly lead‑time alerts for delivery issues.
• Maintain master data in the M3 system, including minimum order quantities, replenishment frequency, and lead‑times.
• Issue manufacturing, purchase, and distribution orders in the M3 system.
• Schedule manufacturing orders to meet customer service requirements.
• Analyze root causes of supply‑chain performance and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Act as a super‑user for the Movex ERP system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Movex, M3).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Microsoft Access capabilities.
• Competence with Microsoft Office applications.
