Supply Chain, Purchasing & Compliance Coordinator (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented Supply Chain, Purchasing & Compliance Coordinator to support our growing international operations. This fully remote position focuses on purchasing, supplier management, and import coordination within the food manufacturing and distribution sector.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day purchasing activities with domestic and international suppliers, creating and tracking purchase orders.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring competitive pricing, product availability, and on‑time delivery.
• Monitor supplier lead times, purchasing schedules, and inventory requirements.
• Prepare and organize import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, COAs, Bills of Lading) and support customs clearance.
• Track inbound shipments, work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse partners.
• Resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, pricing, and deliveries.
• Maintain supplier approvals, compliance records, COAs, and audit documentation for food safety.

Required profile

• Strong purchasing and procurement experience.
• Understanding of supply chain operations, import logistics, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
