Systems Support Engineer

About the role

The Systems Support Engineer will provide technical support for servers, networking, virtual and cloud environments at Xerox's Juárez campus and other manufacturing sites worldwide. The role ensures optimal performance of computing equipment, critical communications infrastructure, and database systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support Windows and Linux servers, as well as NAS/SAN storage solutions.
• Administer user accounts, access policies, and cybersecurity practices.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hardware, software, and databases.
• Support business applications and database systems.
• Participate in IT projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide support for virtual environments (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Maintain cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Advanced English proficiency and willingness to travel (visa/passport required).
