Tax Analyst

About the role

This position supports tax compliance for Bacardi’s Mexican entities, ensuring timely filing of tax returns, implementing process improvements, and staying current with tax law changes. You will work closely with finance teams, tax advisors, and internal shared services to deliver accurate tax reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute migration of tax filing work and internal tax processes from previous owners.
• Extract and review data from SAP for local tax filings.
• Coordinate information flow between local finance teams and tax advisors.
• Prepare monthly tax calculations and returns (VAT, Excise, Withholding Tax, etc.).
• File tax returns accurately and on time with tax authorities.
• Coordinate and approve tax payments derived from filings.
• Work with the internal shared service center (BES) to ensure correct information for filings.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of tax accounts.
• Assist with corporate income tax working papers.
• Consolidate information for VAT refund requests.
• Document, implement, and improve tax filing processes.
• Monitor tax law changes and support their implementation.
• Participate in internal and external tax audits.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities.
• Solid accounting knowledge and prior tax experience.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and ability to work with multiple functions.

Required skills

• SAP for data extraction and reporting.
