Tax Analyst

About the role

Givaudan is seeking a Tax Analyst to support its International Tax Directors and Head of Tax in Mexico. The role involves preparing and filing corporate income, withholding, and indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file direct tax returns (corporate income tax, withholding tax) and indirect tax returns (VAT/GST, sales tax, excise).
• Maintain VAT related tables in SAP and ensure data integrity across filings.
• Perform analytical reviews of balance‑sheet accounts, investigate abnormal payments, and produce monthly fiscal analyses.
• Support tax audits by gathering documentation and responding to authority inquiries.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate updates to senior tax leaders.
• Contribute to the improvement of tax compliance tools, systems, and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in taxation, accounting, or finance (internship or junior experience acceptable).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP and Oracle.
• Knowledge of SAP‑GTS and customs/import‑export regulations.
