Tax Invoicing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Invoicing Manager to lead our invoicing team within the Operations function for Mexico. You will ensure accurate, timely generation and delivery of customer invoices while maintaining compliance with internal controls, contractual obligations, and local fiscal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise billing analysts and oversee day‑to‑day billing operations, including escalations and process improvements.
• Act as liaison between Billing, Sales, Operations, Technology, Tax, Finance, and Customer Support to resolve billing issues.
• Implement controls, identify automation opportunities, and improve data quality using analytical tools.
• Manage accounts receivable: preparation, recording, verification, analysis, reporting, and timely posting of client payments.
• Maintain and reconcile AR ledger accounts, produce arrears and bad‑debt reports, and detect fraud through bill‑run analysis.
• Direct setup and testing of client accounts/invoices in the billing system and recommend system enhancements.
• Support contract pricing review, pricing rule validation, and collaboration with Account Management, Sales, and Product teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising billing or invoicing teams.
• Strong understanding of Mexican fiscal regulations and internal control frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage escalations and drive continuous process improvement.
• Experience with accounts receivable management, ledger reconciliation, and fraud detection.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and automation.
