Tax Invoicing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Invoicing Manager to lead our invoicing team within the Operations function for Mexico. The role ensures accurate, timely generation, validation and delivery of customer invoices while maintaining compliance with internal controls, contractual obligations and local fiscal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise billing analysts, overseeing day‑to‑day billing operations and managing escalations.
• Ensure accurate generation, validation and delivery of invoices in line with Mexican tax regulations.
• Drive process improvements across billing, reconciliation and reporting, identifying automation opportunities and enhancing data quality.
• Act as liaison between Billing, Sales, Operations, Technology, Tax, Finance and Customer Support to resolve billing issues.
• Manage accounts receivable transactions, post client payments, reconcile ledgers and produce reports on arrears and bad debt.
• Develop and enforce accounts receivable policies, conduct variance analysis and support fraud detection through bill‑run reconciliations.
• Participate in contract pricing reviews, validate pricing rules and coordinate invoice review meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising billing analysts and managing invoicing operations.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican fiscal regulations and tax invoicing compliance.
• Experience in accounts receivable management, financial reporting and ledger reconciliation.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, Technology, Tax, Finance and Customer Support teams.
• Analytical mindset for process optimisation, automation identification and data‑quality improvement.
