Tax Manager – Mexico City

About the role

The Tax Team at TikTok is looking for a Tax Manager based in Mexico City to lead tax compliance and operational tax matters for fintech and payment‑related products. You will help design and scale tax processes for a fast‑growing digital platform environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support corporate income tax, VAT and withholding compliance for fintech, digital wallets, cash‑advance, lending and other regulated financial services in Mexico.
• Coordinate and monitor compliance with Mexican digital platform reporting obligations, including real‑time information access and transactional data reporting.
• Work with Product, Engineering, Finance and external vendors to design and implement scalable tax technology solutions such as tax determination engines, invoicing automation, withholding automation and tax reporting systems.
• Manage interactions with the Mexican tax authority (SAT), including audits, information requests, reporting reviews and remediation projects.
• Ensure proper CFDI invoicing, electronic accounting records and tax reporting automation in line with SAT requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a large multinational corporation or professional services firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Law.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican corporate tax, VAT, withholding and fintech regulations.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional and cross‑border teams in a highly regulated environment.
• Hands‑on, operational mindset with the capacity to manage ambiguity and scale new products.
