Technician III

About the role

Corning is seeking a Technician III to support its innovative glass, ceramic and materials‑science operations. The role involves performing a variety of technical duties, leading small improvement projects and ensuring process efficiency across manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Recommend changes to methods and procedures to improve productivity.
• Provide feedback, coaching and training to team members.
• Coordinate work of others and ensure appropriate confidentiality handling of materials.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and resolve technical problems.
• Design and run basic experiments to support process development.
• Maintain internal customer relations and interact with external contacts when required.

Required profile

• Associate degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Moderate knowledge of job content and manufacturing processes.
• 1‑3 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated track record of performance in a technical environment.
• Bachelor’s degree is a desired qualification.
