Temporary AMEF Coordinator

About the role

The Temporary AMEF Coordinator will lead PFMEA and Control Plan activities for automotive projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust risk analysis and continuous improvement. This role supports risk‑reduction reviews, documents changes, and drives compliance with customer‑specific quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and facilitate PFMEA & Control Plan meetings, ensuring correct methodology is applied.
• Support and coordinate risk‑reduction reviews to prevent defects from reaching the workstation.
• Review high‑risk failure modes, recommend actions, and track implementation.
• Document PFMEA & CP updates based on complaints, MCRs, ICMs, etc.
• Coordinate cross‑functional PFMEA revisions and improve local processes.
• Become expert in APIS and Teamcenter software and organize related workflows.
• Lead PFMEA workgroups, moderate meetings, and prepare schedules and decision criteria.
• Conduct monthly GM and bimonthly Stellantis risk‑reduction reviews, as well as annual reverse PFMEA & Control Plan activities.
• Approve risk analyses for temporary deviations and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in industrial engineering, electrical or mechatronics.
• 2+ years experience in an industrial product manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of FMEA (AIAG 4th Edition, AIAG & VDA 1st Edition) and Control Plan (AIAG 1st Edition).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and customer‑specific requirements (Stellantis, GM, Ford, BMW, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, etc.).
• Advanced English reading and writing skills (≈70% proficiency).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent moderation, organization, presentation and problem‑solving abilities.
