Test Cell Engineer

About the role

The Test Cell Engineer provides technical support to test cell operators and inspectors, ensuring autonomous execution of all test‑cell activities. You will analyse engine performance, lead troubleshooting, interact with clients and network teams, and take part in client and authority audits.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain the Test Cell Workscope (TCWS) and act as the technical referent.
• Validate performance summaries and monitor test‑cell data.
• Direct troubleshooting actions when a test cell rejects a unit.
• Maintain the test‑cell log book and ensure compliance with internal audit programs (IGP, Spot Audits, etc.).
• Coordinate purchase orders, transport, and consumable supply for the test cell.
• Interpret ARINC alerts and electrical diagrams related to test‑cell operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of turbofan engines, specifically CFM56 and LEAP.
• Solid understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics, aerodynamics and MRO processes.
