Test Lab Data Engineer

About the role

The Test Lab Data Engineer will design, develop, and optimise scalable data solutions that provide reliable, secure, and efficient access to information across the organisation. This role works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure data quality, integration and availability, supporting data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
• Monitor project progress using planning tools, metrics and dashboards.
• Promote continuous improvement of data engineering processes, standards and best practices.
• Ensure alignment and effective communication between global and local teams.
• Provide technical support, guidance and mentoring to team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and governance.

Required skills

• Data engineering, ETL/ELT processes and data modelling.
• SQL and relational database expertise.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark and Azure Data Factory.
• Data quality management and data governance principles.
• Data integration, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Software development methodologies and best practices.
