Testing Engineer

About the role

Join the Sandalwood team as a Testing Engineer and work directly with customers to validate, install, commission, and continuously improve test processes and equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will act as a trusted consultant, helping clients solve current challenges while leveraging Sandalwood’s deep expertise in injury prevention, systems engineering, and ergonomics.

Key responsibilities

• Validate, install, and commission test equipment for assigned processes.
• Drive continuous improvement of test procedures and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with multiple customers as a consultant and trusted partner.
• Report project status accurately and timely to management.
• Negotiate timing targets and make decisions under pressure to meet customer expectations.
• Provide proactive customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• Quick learner with strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Team‑player with a proactive attitude and sense of urgency.
• Excellent negotiation skills and decision‑making capability in high‑stress situations.
