Training and Certification Analyst

About the role

The Training and Certification Analyst at El Carmen Manufacturing Facility will design, deliver, and manage comprehensive training and certification programs for production staff, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards while enhancing employee proficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and regularly update training modules covering safety, quality control, equipment operation, and compliance.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps across departments.
• Deliver engaging training sessions both in‑person and virtually using diverse instructional techniques.
• Establish and maintain a robust certification program, including assessment criteria, tracking progress, and issuing certifications.
• Collaborate with department heads and subject‑matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and current.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and post‑training assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, certifications, and employee qualifications.
• Research and recommend new training technologies and e‑learning solutions.
• Support onboarding by providing foundational training for new hires.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and deliver effective training programs.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Required skills

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Proficiency in e‑learning platforms.
