Transport Associate – Freight Invoice Analyst

About the role

Kerry is seeking a detail‑oriented Transport Associate to manage end‑to‑end freight invoice processing and exception handling. The role ensures accurate carrier payments, resolves system integration issues, and maintains high service levels with both internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage LTL and TL freight invoice exceptions, validate supporting documents, and drive invoices to Ready to Pay status.
• Monitor carrier invoice submissions in the Transportation Management System (TMS), identify posting blockers, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Investigate and resolve SAP ↔ TMS (IDOC) integration failures, routing issues to manual payment when necessary.
• Create, validate, and manage TOURs for shuttle carriers, reconciling TMS load data against carrier files and addressing exceptions such as voided loads or tendering errors.
• Perform recurring carrier statement reconciliations across a large carrier base, documenting discrepancies and following up to resolution.
• Respond to carrier and vendor inquiries, providing payment status updates and resolving freight payable questions within defined SLAs.

Required profile

• Experience in freight invoicing, transportation payables, or logistics finance.
• Solid understanding of TL/LTL transportation processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet defined service level agreements.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with carriers and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Proficiency in SAP or a comparable ERP system.
• Knowledge of IDOC integration processes.
