UX Researcher

About the role

Bosch is seeking a senior UX Researcher to lead user‑centered research and service design across consumer, industrial and automotive domains. You will work in interdisciplinary teams, turning insights into impactful design recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and plan user research, synthesize findings and ensure they drive design decisions (primary focus, 75%).
• Develop service designs for a wide spectrum of products, managing projects in consumer, industrial and automotive fields.
• Champion best‑in‑class UX research practices within Bosch North America.
• Educate and advocate for inclusive, accessible and cross‑cultural design.
• Provide UX instruction, coaching, workshops and consultations.
• Facilitate design‑thinking and ideation workshops for multiple business divisions.
• Travel up to 25% domestically or internationally as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a design discipline combined with user‑centered methods, sociology, anthropology or psychology.
• 7+ years of experience in user design or research, applying qualitative methods and basic quantitative surveys.
• Strong project‑management abilities and experience facilitating design‑thinking workshops.
• Ability to work under time constraints on multiple projects and collaborate in cross‑functional teams.
• English proficiency at B2 minimum (C1 preferred).

Required skills

• Qualitative research methods (participatory design, interviews, diary studies, contextual inquiry, concept testing).
• Basic quantitative survey experience.
