Washing Assistant

About the role

The Washing Assistant supports the container washing operations at Crown's metal packaging plant in Mexico. You will ensure that containers are cleaned, inspected, and ready for the next production stage while adhering to Crown's quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Classify and organize dirty containers for processing.
• Load and unload containers from washing machines.
• Operate and monitor industrial washing equipment following established procedures.
• Verify that containers are clean and free of residues before they move forward.
• Perform visual inspections to detect defects or contaminants.
• Report equipment anomalies or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all industrial safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure an efficient workflow.

Required profile

• Secondary education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capacity to work in a fast‑paced, pressure‑filled environment.
• Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical ability to lift and move moderately weighted objects.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Basic knowledge of industrial safety standards.
