Web Developer 2 – WordPress & PHP Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Web Developer 2 to design, develop, and maintain our corporate public websites and web applications. The role focuses on delivering robust solutions, ensuring site performance, security, and alignment with evolving business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create solid solution designs.
• Manage, maintain, and support corporate websites and web applications.
• Maintain WordPress environments, including plugin updates and security patches.
• Design and develop programs to meet ongoing business requirements.
• Evaluate new technologies and integrate them into existing workflows.
• Provide strategic recommendations for upgrades and architectural changes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application stability.
• Communicate with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience with WordPress.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and collaborate within a team.

Required skills

• WordPress (plugin maintenance, security patching)
• PHP (hands‑on experience preferred)
• HTML5 and CSS3
• Web server configuration (Apache, Nginx) on Linux
• Database knowledge: MySQL, PostgreSQL (optional)
• Familiarity with Drupal and JavaScript (optional)
