Workday HCM Business Analyst – Consultant

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Workday HCM Business Analyst to join its HR Technology team in Guadalajara, Mexico. The analyst will partner with HR stakeholders to translate business needs into effective Workday solutions, ensuring system stability and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, and Compliance teams to gather and document functional requirements.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, map business processes, identify gaps, and recommend Workday‑aligned solutions.
• Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules, including business processes, security roles, condition rules, and calculated fields.
• Work with integration partners and adjacent systems such as ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, and payroll/benefits vendors.
• Lead functional testing, SIT, and UAT; support release planning, deployment coordination, and post‑release validation.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot process failures, data issues, and integration errors, and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Document configurations, processes, and support procedures.

Required profile

• Strong functional expertise in Workday HCM.
• Proven business analysis experience within HR technology environments.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with HR, IT, and external partners.
• Experience with testing, release management, and production support.
