DevOps IaC Engineer – AWS & Terraform

About the role

Amdocs is looking for a DevOps IaC Engineer to support digital transformation initiatives on AWS and Terraform. Based in Guadalajara, you will design, build, and maintain hybrid and public cloud environments that enable our telecom and media customers to deliver exceptional experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain web, virtual, and client‑server environments on cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operating system and server issues, collaborating with infrastructure teams.
• Apply optimization techniques to improve system efficiency and define business impact assessments for recovery prioritisation.
• Develop and enforce software standards for operating systems, servers, and virtualised infrastructure.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to address business needs and drive innovation.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, lessons‑learned, and prevention processes to meet SLA and CSAT targets.
• Adopt new technologies throughout the product lifecycle and follow a strict change‑control process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–8 years of hands‑on experience with cloud services, preferably in hybrid or managed public cloud environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a professional demeanor in high‑visibility situations.
