DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Site Reliability Engineer will join the Platform Operations Global Team, responsible for managing cloud‑based infrastructure and services that support custom Java applications and third‑party solutions within KION Group IT.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure on Azure.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Automate application deployments, repeatable jobs, and key platform components.
• Guarantee platform availability, stability, and compliance with KION quality standards.
• Monitor and operate both third‑party and custom Java application stacks.
• Lead blameless post‑mortems, derive corrective actions, and manage the issues backlog.
• Develop and refine monitoring dashboards, alerts, and SLO‑based reliability metrics.
• Onboard new SaaS and third‑party solutions and transition custom‑built applications from projects to operations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
• Strong understanding of Azure services and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and drive automation initiatives.
