Duty Manager – Evening Shift

About the role

The Duty Manager leads the hotel during the critical evening period (2 PM – 11 PM), representing the General Manager and the Leadership Team. This position ensures smooth operations, swift guest service, and decisive handling of any incidents while maintaining confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead service delivery, team development, and uphold professional standards during shift hours.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of equipment use, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Protect guest privacy and hotel data with strict confidentiality.
• Provide accurate information on resort services, local attractions, and respond to guest inquiries.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance Department.
• Complete the Duty Manager checklist with detailed comments and photographic evidence.
• Conduct regular inspections of public areas, evaluating cleanliness, organization, staff presentation, safety, ambiance, and décor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel operations role.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
