Executive Director, Keller Center

About the role

The Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education at Princeton University is seeking an Executive Director to provide senior leadership across its curricular, co‑curricular and extracurricular programs. Reporting to the Center’s Faculty Director and the Associate Dean for Administration, the Executive Director will shape and execute center‑wide strategy, foster partnerships, and ensure operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Faculty Director to develop, articulate and implement the Center’s strategic plan.
• Lead administrative, financial, outreach and programmatic functions, overseeing hiring, performance reviews and merit processes.
• Design and enforce internal policies, coordinate resources and drive operational efficiency.
• Represent the Keller Center internally within the University and externally with donors, advisors and strategic partners.
• Guide the development, creation and evaluation of new initiatives that advance entrepreneurship, design and innovation education.

Required profile

• Senior professional with extensive experience in strategic planning, finance, people leadership and operational management.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, energetic and optimistic approach.
• Ability to lead a diverse community of faculty, staff and students.
• Experience reporting to senior academic and administrative leaders.
