Fulfillment Center Trainer – Outbound Area Manager

About the role

The Fulfillment Center Trainer partners with operations managers, area managers, production assistants and associates to continuously improve the long‑term capabilities of the assigned area. The role focuses on measuring production quality and quantity, developing learning tools, and driving associate skill development across the outbound fulfillment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain expert‑level knowledge in at least two production departments and evaluate processes for improvement.
• Develop, refine, and apply learning tools such as methods, checklists, and skill‑building agreements.
• Measure the effectiveness of training programs and track impact on production metrics.
• Identify cross‑training opportunities and implement training plans to support peak and non‑peak periods.
• Support the updating and certification of SOPs, PMVs and PIT for associates and managers.
• Provide insights and feedback to area managers to enhance operational performance.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to groups and one‑on‑one.
• Ability to give and receive feedback effectively and drive understanding using visual aids.
• Strong follow‑up, deadline‑orientation, and goal‑driven mindset.
• Proven people skills, customer‑obsessed attitude, and a positive “can‑do” demeanor.
• Active listener and technical expert who consistently meets expectations.
• Understanding of upstream and downstream variances in a fulfillment environment.
