Fullstack Developer – ABL (Banking)

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join its ABL team in the banking sector. You will work in a hybrid setting in Mexico City, designing and delivering secure, high‑performance APIs and microservices that support critical financial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and decoupled microservices aligned with business capabilities.
• Integrate internal and external systems through API communication and service orchestration.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, security, and availability issues in backend services.
• Collaborate with Frontend, QA, and DevOps teams, participating in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure API security using OAuth2/JWT and follow agile (Scrum/Kanban) development practices.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in backend or fullstack development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following: Java (Spring Boot), Node.js (NestJS/Express), or .NET Core.
• Hands‑on experience designing and building REST APIs and microservices architectures.
• Ability to work under pressure, deliver quality‑oriented results, and collaborate effectively in a team.
