Golang Developer – Remote

About the role

Encora is looking for an experienced Golang Developer to join its cloud engineering team. You will work remotely on high‑availability, high‑performance systems that serve global customers. The role involves full‑cycle development from design to production support.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements from product teams and create high‑level designs for scalable cloud services.
• Evaluate trade‑offs of architectural options and produce detailed design documents.
• Develop, test, and deploy solutions using Golang and related technologies.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and collaborate across development phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in designing and building cloud‑native applications.
• Proven ability to work with complex architectural designs and performance optimization.
• Experience with agile development processes.

Required skills

• Golang (Go) programming language.
• RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Cloud service orchestration and development.
• Backend systems development and object‑oriented design.
• Design patterns and microservices architecture.
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
