About the role

Magna is seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to support production processes, drive continuous improvement, and provide technical assistance within its automotive seating manufacturing operations in Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Support floor production processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Create and update FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and related technical documentation.
• Design, analyze, and improve manufacturing plant layouts.
• Optimize processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Coordinate testing and validation of manufacturing processes.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or a related field.
• Intermediate English proficiency for technical reading and basic communication.
• Junior‑level experience or strong academic background in manufacturing processes.

Required skills

• FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• AutoCAD.
• SolidWorks.
• MIG welding.
• Laser welding.
• Projection welding.
• Microsoft Office suite.
