Junior Data Engineer – Remote

About the role

As a Junior Data Engineer you will support the creation and maintenance of data pipelines, storage systems, and ETL processes. You will work alongside experienced engineers to transform raw data into formats ready for analysis while learning best practices in data infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and building data pipelines for collecting, processing, and storing data.
• Support the implementation of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Help maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and databases.
• Contribute to data quality monitoring and validation.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
• Learn and apply data engineering technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database design.
• Familiarity with Python or Java programming.
• Understanding of ETL concepts and data modeling basics.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Good level of English.
