Junior Financial Controller – Commercial Area

About the role

The Junior Financial Controller will support the Commercial Area by ensuring accurate financial reporting, assisting with month‑end close, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting activities. This role works closely with the Controller Manager and cross‑functional teams to maintain data integrity and drive performance insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including journal entry reviews, account reconciliations and variance analysis using SAP and OHEP Hyperion.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance.
• Consolidate financial results across business units and provide commentary on trends, risks and opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and rolling projections.
• Identify and implement internal control improvements to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Perform cost and margin analysis to highlight inefficiencies and support profitability optimisation.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with finance and operational teams.
• Good communication skills in English.
