Manufacturing Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Controller to join Rompa Mexico’s finance team. The role sits at the intersection of finance, production and engineering, providing cost insight and data‑driven analysis to support operational decisions and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse budget‑vs‑actual variances, standard costs and produce monthly, weekly and flash cost reports.
• Monitor financial KPIs such as margin, efficiency, scrap, and fixed & variable costs.
• Support inventory control, revaluations, obsolescence and slow‑moving analysis.
• Validate bills of materials, routings and engineering change notices from a financial perspective.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, internal audits and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Solid experience in manufacturing cost control and financial analysis.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• SAP FI/CO.
• Advanced Excel – Power Query, Pivot Tables; macros a plus.
