Mobile Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to build and enhance iHerb’s iOS and Android applications used by millions of customers worldwide. The role involves working on both native and cross‑platform solutions, leveraging AI‑assisted development tools to deliver high‑quality features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features for iOS and/or Android apps using AI‑assisted tooling.
• Participate in the mobile modernization effort, improving app architecture and platform capabilities.
• Write maintainable, well‑tested code and own features from design through App Store or Google Play release.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to integrate APIs and new product experiences.
• Use Claude Code or equivalent AI tools daily for code generation, refactoring, and test automation.
• Contribute to cross‑platform tooling and shared component libraries as the mobile platform evolves.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift/iOS, Kotlin/Android, or both, with experience shipping apps to the App Store or Google Play.
• Understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Daily hands‑on experience with AI‑driven SDLC tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
• Familiarity with .NET/C#, Go, Python, Java, React, MS SQL Server, Azure or AWS.
• Full‑stack awareness and experience owning features end‑to‑end.
