Operations Communications Specialist

About the role

The Operations Communications Specialist will support Chemours’ manufacturing sites across Mexico and Latin America, enhancing internal and frontline employee engagement through clear and consistent communications. Reporting to the Global Communications Leader for Advanced Performance Materials, the role partners with site, regional and global leaders to translate business strategy and operational priorities into everyday workplace messages.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communication toolkits and playbooks for manufacturing sites in Mexico and the United States.
• Partner with site and regional leaders to ensure employees understand Chemours’ strategy, safety commitments, and operational goals.
• Manage change‑and‑engagement initiatives, providing leaders with practical communication resources.
• Identify, assess, and proactively address communications risks, including crisis and issue‑based messaging.
• Support license‑to‑operate communications by coordinating risk‑based messaging.
• Travel periodically to U.S. manufacturing sites to align communications practices.

Required profile

• Experience in internal or operational communications, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work with site, regional and global leadership.
• Ability to translate complex business strategies into clear, actionable messages for frontline employees.
• Proven track record of developing scalable communication tools and managing change initiatives.
