Packaging Graphic Designer (Remote – Mexico)

About the role

Selkirk Sport is seeking a Packaging Graphic Designer to create premium, eye‑catching packaging that serves as the first physical interaction with the brand. Working remotely from Mexico, you will collaborate closely with the Creative Director and product teams to turn concepts into production‑ready designs that enhance the Selkirk experience worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design visually compelling product packaging that aligns with Selkirk’s premium brand standards while meeting practical requirements such as shipping durability and product protection.
• Create packaging concepts, prototypes, and detailed production files from initial idea through final manufacturing.
• Iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback and collaborative review processes.
• Analyze existing packaging to identify cost‑efficiency improvements without compromising quality or brand integrity.
• Coordinate multilingual packaging workflows, ensuring translated content is accurately incorporated into die‑lines and layouts.
• Adapt packaging designs to comply with international regulations and regional market requirements.
• Research consumer behavior, packaging trends, sustainable materials, and emerging technologies to keep Selkirk’s packaging innovative.
• Collaborate with product managers, marketing, graphic designers, safety, and product teams to ensure packaging meets all functional and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing consumer product packaging, preferably for sports or lifestyle brands.
• Strong understanding of how packaging influences buying decisions and brand perception.
• Ability to balance creative vision with production realities, cost considerations, and sustainability goals.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and coordination with localization partners.
