Platform Integrator Engineer

About the role

The Platform Integrator Engineer ensures that all product and process configurations comply with Valeo's platform standards. Working closely with R&D, process teams and technical committees, the engineer drives compliance, supports RFQ activities and acts as the platform’s technical ambassador.

Key responsibilities

• Validate that all P1 projects meet platform configurator requirements and standards.
• Participate in Design Reviews (DR) and Technical Management Meetings to confirm compliance with Fixe, Variable and Specific standards.
• Check and follow up on DeStandardization Requests (DSR) and ensure proper application of Standard Change Orders (SCO) across projects.
• Track ongoing RFQs, support R&D and Process PTMs, and provide monthly reports on RFQ status and CAAV outcomes.
• Validate product configurations during DR0, communicate risks and recommendations to R&D and process owners.
• Represent the platform in technical committees (ECR/ECO, SCR/SCO, Warranty LLC) and ensure changes follow the correct workflow.
• Analyse incidents, red alerts and warranty LLCs, propose improvements to standardization committees.
• Train and certify local P1 teams on platform product standards and keep technical documentation up‑to‑date.
• Connect development and manufacturing sites with platform expertise, collect support needs and provide relevant platform inputs.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of automotive platform configurators and product/process standards.
• Experience participating in technical committees and managing design reviews.
• Ability to analyse incidents, warranty data and propose corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder coordination.
