Procurement Coordinator (MRO)

About the role

The Procurement Coordinator – MRO will support the acquisition of goods and services needed for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations across a global organization. You will manage purchase requests, source competitive quotes, and ensure smooth supplier communication while adhering to company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and orders accurately and on time.
• Track order status, resolve issues, and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers on confirmations, lead times, pricing, and issue resolution.
• Source new vendors, collect and compare quotes to achieve cost‑effective purchasing.
• Manage procurement tickets in the ticketing system, maintaining documentation and service‑level compliance.
• Monitor MRO inventory levels, trigger replenishments, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain optimal stock.
• Work cross‑functionally with operations, maintenance, finance, and IT to align procurement actions with business needs.
• Stay informed on market pricing trends, supplier changes, and potential disruptions, escalating risks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in MRO or indirect categories.
• Experience in a multi‑site or global organization is a plus.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
