Receptionist – Guest Services on Luxury Cruise Ship

About the role

We are seeking a professional Receptionist to deliver exceptional guest services aboard our luxury cruise ship. The role involves managing the front desk, handling guest enquiries, and ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality reception services, greeting guests and addressing their needs promptly.
• Coordinate guest requests, reservations, wake‑up calls, mail services, DVD/CD rentals, and newspaper deliveries.
• Respond to enquiries and complaints immediately, following up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clear communication with the Guest Relations Manager and other ship departments.
• Handle financial transactions such as cash payments, foreign‑currency exchange, credit cards, and cash advances, reconciling cash at the end of each cruise.
• Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures and uphold moral integrity.

Required profile

• At least 2 years experience in guest‑facing or front‑desk roles within an international 5‑star or luxury hospitality environment.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) with strong administrative abilities.
• Adaptable, quick‑thinking, and able to make decisions under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Well‑organized, self‑motivated, and capable of handling multiple demands calmly.
