Remote SAS Grid Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a skilled SAS Administrator to join our fully remote team supporting a SAS Grid 9.4 environment that serves over 15 business units and 300 end‑users. The role focuses on maintaining platform stability, performance and security while providing L1/L2 support.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the SAS Grid 9.4 platform in production, including grid, mid‑tier and metadata tiers.
• Monitor system health, capacity and performance; apply tuning and optimization measures.
• Provide L1/L2 support to SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Studio users, troubleshoot incidents and resolve issues.
• Manage user access, security settings and integration with Active Directory, SSL and other authentication mechanisms.
• Coordinate upgrades, patches and configuration changes with infrastructure and application teams.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, service level agreements and platform availability requirements.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience administering SAS Grid 9.4 in a production environment.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting for automation.
• Experience supporting SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Studio users.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities in a multi‑tenant setting.
• Good communication skills to interact with IT teams and business stakeholders.
• Spanish language is a plus but not mandatory.
